In Neeta's *‘Sukh Dukh’*, Madan Krishna enters after Mithila.

Kathmandu — Veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha has been signed for the film *Sukh Dukh*, which is being directed by actress and producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari. He was officially brought on board by the production team on Friday for an important role in the film.

After signing on, Shrestha shared that he agreed to act in the film because he was moved by the story. Director Neeta expressed great excitement upon his inclusion.“When I narrated the script to him, he became emotional. After liking the script, he seemed enthusiastic about acting in it,” she said.

Earlier on Sunday, actress Mithila Sharma had also been confirmed for the film. However, aside from Madan and Mithila, the production team has not yet revealed the rest of the lead cast.

Notably, renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal have already been signed for the film’s cinematography. *Sukh Dukh* marks Neeta Dhungana’s directorial debut, with Shankar Pandey handling the film’s production management.

Produced under the banner of Neeta Films, the movie is slated for release during the upcoming Dashain festival, specifically on the day of *Phulpati*. Distribution rights have been secured by FD Company for regions outside the Kathmandu Valley and Rich Entertainment within the Valley.
