The first look of 'Maitighar' is out, while the film will be released on Phulpati.

Kathmandu — The first look poster of the film "Maitighar", produced under the banner of Rohit Adhikari Films, has been released. The production team has featured the main cast in the poster, aiming to portray their respective characters.

The first look of *Maitighar*, set to release on *Phulpati* during the Dashain festival, has been unveiled.

Directed by Milan Tamang, the film is produced by Rabin Sherchan and Dhiraj Tamang, with Ishwar Shrestha and Niraj Katulal serving as executive producers. The story is written by Chandrakumar Dong, with screenplay and dialogues by Ramsharan Pathak. The film features cinematography by Sushan Prajapati, editing by Surendra Paudel, songs by Kiran Kharel, Kumar Syangba, and Ram Aviral, and music by Chandrakumar Dong, Alish Karki, S.D. Yogi, and the late Jayadev. The action is choreographed by Ashta Maharjan, and the trailer is edited by Sahil Khan.

"Maitighar" is scheduled to release on the 13th of Asoj, aligning with Phulpati during the Dashain festival.

The film stars Kedar Ghimire, Dhiraj Magar, Prakash Saput, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Shyamashree Sherpa, Buddhi Tamang, Yuvaraj Lama, Shishir Wangdel, Rajani Gurung, Santosh Shahi, Phoolkumar Bamjam, and Sangita Thapa, among others.

The first-look poster seeks to capture the essence of the characters and also features a brightly lit house, symbolizing "Maitighar" — a woman’s parental home. The film also highlights elements of Tamang culture, making it both a family drama and a cultural narrative.
