Until last year, Ghimire was actively involved in directing Sakkigoni. In Falgun 13 of last year, his team JPT Creation released the film Laj Sharanam, in which he also played the lead role. After its box office success, Ghimire is now venturing into directing with renewed confidence.

From the Sakkigoni team, only Priyana Acharya (Munni) has been included in ‘Jharipachhiko Indreni’. Other cast members may be brought in as per the script’s demand, according to Ghimire. The film also marks the return of actor Ganesh Upreti to Nepali cinema after nearly nine years. Upreti expressed excitement about his comeback, especially with such a strong team.

The cast includes Ganesh Upreti, Priyana Acharya, Nirmal Sharma, Ramesh Upreti, and Deepashree Niraula. It has not yet been revealed whether Arjun Ghimire himself will act in the film.

Filming began immediately after the inauguration and will take place in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. The film is a family drama with a 45-day shooting schedule.

The story is written by Kumar Byanjankar (Kumar Ben), and the screenplay is co-written by Arjun Ghimire and Bishal Ghimire. The film is being produced under the banner of Pashupati Shivaji Entertainment, with cinematography by Buddha Thapa and investment by Sushil Kadariya.

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Ganesh Karki has contributed song lyrics, and one of the songs will feature a rap segment by Kathmandu Metropolitan Mayor Balen Shah. His wife Sabina Kafle also attended the shubhamuhurta ceremony, extending her best wishes for the film’s success.
