Popular Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey recently visited Kathmandu and has returned home after his trip. During his stay, he spent two nights at the five-star Hyatt Regency hotel in Boudha and offered prayers at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple on Sunday. Sharing photos from the temple on Instagram, he wrote, “Felt fortunate to visit Pashupatinath Temple during the month of Shrawan.”
On Wednesday, Chunky shared four more pictures from his Kathmandu tour, expressing admiration for the city’s beauty and hospitality. He wrote, “Visited Kathmandu after 1989. Very beautiful, very green, and the warmest hospitality.” According to his post, this marked his return to Kathmandu after 36 years. He had reportedly visited the Pashupatinath Temple during his previous trip as well.
Besides Bollywood, Chunky has acted in over a dozen Bangladeshi films. In the 2006 movie *Apna Sapna Money Money*, he portrayed a Nepali character. His new film *Son of Sardar 2* is set to release this Friday, while his nephew Ahaan Pandey’s debut film *Saira* is currently performing well in the Indian market.
